POWER CABLES, FLAME RETARDANT AT GROUP INSTALLATION AND WITH LOW SMOKE AND GAS EMISSION (modification – «flame retardant – Fire-Resistant Low Smoke»)
SCOPE AND PURPOSE
The cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electric power and electrical signal in stationary electrical installations on the nominal alternating voltage to 0,66 and 1 kV and frequency 50 Hz or on direct voltage 1 and 1,5 kV.
The cables are used for group installations of cable power supply lines of security systems, of the wiring circuits of the systems of fire safety, of the wiring in the surgical departments of hospitals, of the wiring circuits of emergency power supply of the equipment, functioning in case of fire.
The cables are also used at nuclear power stations outside of hermetic area in systems of Nuclear power plants of class 2 according to classification of НП-001–2015.
The class of fire hazard of the cables according to GOST 31565 П1 б.1.2.2.2.

STRUCTURE
Conductor
Copper, single-wire or multi-wire core, of circular or sector-shaped form, of the 1 or 2 class according to GOST 22483 of cross-section from 1,5 up to 1000 mm2.

Insulation
PVC-compound of low fire hazard.
Core arrangement
Insulated conductors of 2, 3, 4 and 5-core cables are twisted in a cable core.

Screen
For cables of types VVGЕng(A)-FRLS the screen is made in form of lapping with copper tapes or copper foil, it is allowed to manufacture with copper wires and a spiral taping with a copper tape.
