POWER CABLES, FLAME RETARDANT AT GROUP INSTALLATION WITH LOW SMOKE- AND GAS EMISSION (modification – «flame retardant - Low Smoke»)

SCOPE AND PURPOSE

The cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electric energy in stationary electric installations on alternating voltage 0,66; 1 and 3 kV and frequency 50 Hz or direct voltage 1; 1,5 and 4,5 kV correspondingly.

The cables are manufactured for general industrial application and nuclear power stations. The cables do not spread combustion at group installation.

The cables are designed for use in cable structures and premises, including the objects where nuclear energy is used in the AC systems of classes 3 and 4 according to classification ИП-001–2015.

Cables of types VBShvng(A)-LS) are also designed for laying in the ground.

The class of fire hazard of the cables according to GOST 31565 П1 б.8.2.2.2.

STRUCTURE

Conductor
Copper or aluminum, single-wire or multi-wire core, of circular or sector-shaped form, of the 1 or 2 class according to GOST 22483 with the cross-section from 1,5 up to 1000 mm2.

Insulation
PVC-compound of low fire hazard (color coded conductor).

Core arrangement
Insulated conductors of 2, 3, 4 and 5 core cables twisted in cable core.

Inner sheath
PVC-compound of low fire hazard. It is made with the filling of outer gaps between

Screen
For cables of types VVGEng(A)-LS is made of copper tapes or copper wires and helicon taping with a copper tape.

Cable armoring
For cables of types VBShvng(A)-LS is laid with two steel, galvanized tapes.

Cable sheath
PVC-compound of low fire hazard. Reduction of light permeability in the test chamber during smoke formation in conditions of burning and smoldering of the cables.
